There are a few shows around town who refuse or pondering taking calls, Stu is the reason calls are important.
Thursday Morning, a gentleman by the name of “Stu” called John Granato and Lance Zierlein. John was under the assumption Stu was calling to praise the show but Stu went left field. Stu was pissed with John and Lance because they are not giving him score updates and they don’t talk enough about the NFL.
Lance and John begin to wonder if this guy was living in 2017 or the Cold War. They ragged on him pretty good and I laughed my ass off.
Where Lance and John left off, Twitter picked up the slack. The tweets were coming in with FIRE and they even created a hashtag #ImWithStu
Below are a few of the Stu tweets.
All jokes aside, it appeared Stu didn’t not know the difference between national and local programming. Stu probably thought John and Lance were a national show. It makes me wonder how many other people out there are just like Stu. Nevertheless, it was one of the best shows since the reunification.
TAX CUT OUTRAGE
Thursday, President Donald Trump signed the new tax law. Wednesday after the House and Senate voted, a few companies immediately announced bonuses for their employees.
1. ATT $1k bonus to over 200,000 employees;
2. Boeing $300M employee-related investments;
3. FifthThird $15min wage, $1k bonuses;
4. WellsFargo $15min wage, donations of $400 million;
5. Comcast $1k bonus to over 100,000 non-exec employees.
Like clockwork, Trump opposition began calling it Corporate Collision. The Right defended Trump and the companies by saying it’s not collusion.
It’s all bullshit, thousands of employees are about to get money they didn’t have which they will put back into economy. I don’t give a flying crap if this deal was planned or not especially if I’m a benefactor of the bonus.
There are even reports of people from the left are calling for boycotts on the companies giving bonuses, can you believe this?
If I was the President, I would say “I told you I make deals and in an effort to repatriate money back into our country I did what I had to do.” I wouldn’t run from it to prove that “trickle down” economics works. Big freaking whoop if a President negotiated with corporations to give employees more and reinvest in America.
I am happy about the tax cuts and honestly, I am not sure what all it means for me but a few of my friends in DC assured me, I would like it.
As I reflected, I got sad, we are in a state of mind where the government can give us back our own money that we worked for and we celebrate as if it’s a gift from the gods.
